Fastned and One Hundred Restrooms enter European partnership

Charging player Fastned and One Hundred restrooms have entered into a strategic partnership, clinched in a European framework agreement. Together, they aim to offer electric drivers and others across Europe “a quality restroom experience”.
Accordingly, research shows that visitors to motorway service areas increasingly need quality facilities to make the most of their waiting time or break. Fastned and One Hundred are responding to this need with jointly designed toilet facilities that ensure a comfortable and break-time experience.
“We are delighted to partner with One Hundred Restrooms to provide quality facilities to all road users at our Fastned locations,” said Jasper van Dijk, Retail Director at Fastned. “Our goal is to make travelling as comfortable and pleasant as possible.”
“New standard”
The partnership between Fastned and One Hundred will kick off with new facilities at charging stations in Belgium and the Netherlands. The first of the new toilet facilities will open in the first quarter of 2025.
“This partnership is an important milestone for One Hundred as it allows us to further expand our presence in Europe and offer new toilet solutions and wellness innovations,” said Bram Gleichman, co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer of the sanitation company. “Together with partners like Fastned, we are setting a new standard that responds to the changing needs of customers and creates additional value for every traveller.”
