Dutch tank tourists pay double

Dutch people filling up in Belgium across the border found that their payment was debited twice. According to their bank, it would be a malfunction.
Since the prices of diesel and petrol are lower in Belgium than in the Netherlands, a petrol station in Kinrooi, Limburg, has seen a rise in the number of Dutch customers. Now it turns out they are not so lucky after all: at home, they found that their payment was written twice from their account. It mainly concerned Rabobank.
To TV Limburg, co-owner Heidi Bruijnen says the problem also occurred two years ago. It involved a reservation by the bank, which the bank then had to refund. The filling station itself could not fix anything about the fault.
Rabobank informed that a malfunction was at the root of the shortcoming, which has now been fixed.
