It recently launched the Beequip Marketplace where entrepreneurs can easily search for heavy equipment online and, for example, apply directly for a truck lease. This new service allows entrepreneurs to arrange everything, from equipment to leasing, in one go. Anouk Dubbeldam, Sales Officer at Beequip, explains: “We use our reach to match suppliers and potential buyers.” With this marketplace, Beequip is responding to entrepreneurs’ growing desire for quick and efficient switching.
The launch of the marketplace comes at a time when the demand for quick deliveries and spread payments is greater than ever, partly due to the rapid growth of e-commerce. “The need for a central platform where entrepreneurs can view, select and directly lease vehicles is huge,” says Dubbeldam. “The marketplace is specifically designed for entrepreneurs who want to act quickly and not waste time.” Thanks to the integration of purchasing and financing, entrepreneurs no longer have to search endlessly for the right equipment and can submit the lease application directly. This significantly speeds up the process of leasing trailers, for example.
Advantages
The marketplace brings supply and demand together directly. Dubbeldam stresses that Beequip has always been the connecting link between suppliers and entrepreneurs, and the marketplace is now the physical result of that. “Suppliers want their equipment to be sold quickly, while entrepreneurs want to act quickly,” she explains. The marketplace increases the reach of suppliers and allows entrepreneurs to find the equipment they need faster. This creates a win-win situation for both parties.

The marketplace also has benefits for Beequip itself. The platform attracts visitors who might not have thought of leasing before. Dubbeldam explains: “Because of the marketplace, our reach is greater, which means we serve more customers and serve them faster because of the short lines of communication.”

The marketplace is a valuable addition to Beequip’s existing products, such as the lease calculator. “Here you can calculate the lease price of equipment you have found elsewhere, or refinance your own equipment,” adds Dubbeldam. The marketplace is a great addition to this for entrepreneurs who do not yet have equipment in mind.
The current offer on the marketplace includes rigids, trucks, trailers, semi-trailers, excavators, tractors and forklifts, and will be further expanded in the future.
