Fieten Oil opens refuelling locations 74 and 75

With the opening of two new locations in November, the counter for Fieten Olie now stands at 75 refuelling facilities in the Netherlands. The company expanded to Hattem and Twijzelerheide.
In Hattem, a town in Overijssel with about 12,500 inhabitants, people can now go to Netelhorst 2 to fill up with Euro 95, diesel and HVO100. And in the Frisian town of Twijzelerheide, a new unmanned Fieten filling station was inaugurated at the beginning of November where diesel and Euro 95 can be filled up 24 hours a day. “The filling station is located a few minutes from the provincial road N355, centrally located between the towns of Kollum, De Westereen, Burgum and Buitenpost, and offers direct connection to the A7,” the company said in a note.
Ten-year delay
That Fieten still rounds the cape of 75 locations in 2024 does not come as a huge surprise. Last March, for instance, the company opened stations 67 and 68 in Tubbergen and Hengelo. Location number 69 did not come without a struggle. It took no less than ten years for the filling station on the Oostelijke Randweg in Doetinchem to finally become a reality last May. This was followed by locations in Putten and Steenwijk, and then the counter reached 73 with the takeover of two stations in Enter.
