OK expands by two service stations through acquisitions

Two stations were recently added to the portfolio of OK filling stations in the Netherlands. In Doetinchem, Shell remains on the awning for a while, while OK has immediately started remodelling its new filling station in Rotterdam.
The latter is located on Vondelingenweg, which runs along the Rotterdam port area from Waalhaven to Botlekbrug. The new owner is leaving no stone unturned here, according to general manager Johan Bogaarts on LinkedIn.“The station has been handed over completely gutted and will open as early as next week with new pumps and a converted canopy, that is with the OK emergency shop. The new shop will open on 14 February.” Since the update dates from last week, the temporary shop is probably open by now.
Network expansion continues
So while the job in Rotterdam should be done in a month’s time, OK Retail is taking a break with the acquired Shell location in Doetinchem. Bogaarts also announced in his update that the search for new stations to expand the network continues unabated and that the company is looking for an extra employee to take on this task. Last August, OK Retail rounded the mark of 100 of its own petrol stations.
