Two failed petrol station robberies

The police reported that two attempted robberies of petrol stations took place in recent days. In both Utrecht and IJmuiden, the malefactors made off again without loot, but that does not alter the fact that they are being sought.
At a petrol station on Eykmanlaan in Utrecht last Thursday around 7.15pm, three men went for the easy money. An employee saw three men standing outside wearing plastic gloves. “One of the men tried to open the door but it was locked. Thereupon the men immediately ran away, towards the Overvecht district,” the police report said. The three suspects are all around 1.60 metres tall and are between 12 and 19 years old. They were wearing dark jackets and dark sweatpants; in one case a dark green one. “All three wore a dark scarf in front of their mouths and noses, possibly also a blue mouth cap,” he said.
Off again quickly
On Dokweg in IJmuiden, two men got a bit closer to their target than their colleagues in Utrecht. They entered the petrol station at that location armed and also threatened with those weapons. However, that did not yield the desired result and the duo soon took off again. They were no longer found in the vicinity of the petrol station. Because they had been inside, a detailed description of these men is available.
