EVChargeKing wins Charging Infrastructure Innovation Award

The Charging Infrastructure Innovation Award was presented at the Charging Infrastructure Congress on Tuesday 11 February. It was EVChargeKing that was awarded for its ETAPpro.
Every year, the Charging Infrastructure Innovation Award goes to an innovation in the field of infrastructure that boosts charging. This year, three companies were nominated: iLumen with its iLuCharge 2, Enovates with the Single Wallbox 400, and EVChargeKing which proposed the ETAPpro. In the end, it was the latter that walked away with the honour.
EVChargeKing, a Belgian manufacturer of charging cables, has been providing quality electric vehicle charging solutions since 2014, with a dedicated range for Tesla vehicles. Now they are also moving into other charging infrastructure. Colruyt, which recently transferred all its energy-related investments to the Virya holding company, took a significant stake in the company at the end of 2021.
Portable solution
Development of the ETAPpro charger began in 2020 and resulted in a flexible EV charger designed and manufactured in Belgium by the end of 2023. It can be used both fixed and mobile, which is ideal for companies, fleet managers and individuals.
The ETAPpro supports EMS, API and Modbus TCP/IP for smart energy management and grid balancing. The mobile design enables use in temporary locations, while Multi-CPO connectivity and location-based reimbursements ensure transparent costs. Through reuse and local manufacturing, the charger contributes to a more sustainable charging infrastructure.
Congress Charging Infra
The Charging Infrastructure Innovation Award was presented at the Congress on Charging Infrastructure. This took place in Brussels on Tuesday and attracted a record number of participants with 429 visitors.
